Why No Pesticides?
Good question! In a nutshell, organic farming is an agricultural production system that does not use genetically modified seed, synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Rather, it is a holistic approach that takes into consideration what is best for not only you as the consumer, but also what is best for the soil, quality of produce and the environment. Research shows that organically-produced foods are higher in antioxidants and other nutrients and positively nutures the environment as a whole. The reasons go on and on! We believe in being good stewards of the land and providing you with healthy food!
